| BRANDY ALEXANDER A LA COMMANDERS PALACE Ingredients 1/2 ounce créme de cacao 2 ounces cream or half-and-half 1-1/2 ounces brandy Freshly grated nutmeg Steps Combine the créme the cacao, cream or half-and-half, and brandy in a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake. Strain into a stemmed wineglass and sprinkle with nutmeg. Makes one drink. FROZEN MOCHA BRANDY PARFAIT Ingredients 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream 1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream 1/2 cup brandy 1 cup strong black coffee 1 cup dark crème de caçao Whipped cream for garnish Chocolate shavings for garnish Steps In a blender or food processor, combine the ice creams, brandy, coffee, crème de caçao until well mixed. Pour into containers and freeze for at least 10 hours. When ready to serve, spoon into parfait or wine glasses, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if you wish. Makes about 20 servings. |
